Survicate Mobile SDK Showcase Privacy Policy

§1. GENERAL PROVISIONS 

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Survicate Mobile SDK Showcase application demonstrating how Survicate's mobile app surveys works (hereinafter also known as “Mobile App”).This Privacy Policy comes into force on 07 July 2022 and can be amended. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Privacy Policy.Tthe data controller of user data (clients) is Survicate S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw (postal code 02 – 786) at Zamiany 8 LU2 Street, entered into the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw in Warsaw, 13th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number: 0001021023, NIP number: 9512390641, fully paid-up share capital: PLN 300,000.00, contact e-mail address: hello@survicate.com (hereinafter referred to as “Us” or “Controller”).

§2. DATA

Data types collecting or sharing when using Mobile App: User ID,Approximate location,In-app messages (Intercom),Crash logs,Diagnostics,App interactions,Device IDs,IP number.All of the user data collected by Mobile App is encrypted in transit and in rest.Data collection is required and necessary for the proper functioning of the Mobile App. (services providing) like: testing the function of answering questions in mobile surveyslaunching a chat that allows you to contact Our representatives and make possible further communications regarding Mobile App functionalities or Our other products. Data can be also used for analytical purposes, especially to compile statistical data and analysis for Our internal purposes. 


§3. PERSONAL DATA

In connection with the implementation of the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of  the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals  with regard to the processing of personal data and in the free movement of such data and  repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (general regulation about data protection - hereinafter referred  as "GDPR") we inform you that:   The personal data processed by Us is processed for following purposes: performance of the services (legal basis: Article 6 paragraph 1 point b of the GDPR), handling of inquiries (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR), handling complaints (Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR), monitoring and improving the quality of services provided, including support (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR). Data related to the answers to survey questions provided as part of testing the functionality of the Survicate products may be deleted at the user's request delivered to the contact details below. Other personal data will be kept for the period:necessary to clarify the matter related to your inquiry submitted using the Mobile App (if applicable), period for potential claims related to the use of the application (e.g. in the field of data privacy) - maximum 6 yearsData retention will not each time be longer than 10 years counting from the date of its submission. Your personal data will not be processed in the form of profiling.You have the right to access your data and the right to rectify, delete, limit processing, transfer data, and object to the processing of personal data. To the extent that the basis for the processing of your personal data is the premise of a legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR), you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, for reasons related to your particular situation.In order to exercise the above rights, please contact the Controller using the contact details indicated below (gdpr@survicate.com).You have the right to complain to the supervisory authority when you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.Your personal data will not be transferred to third countries (outside the European Economic Area) or international organizations, subject to analytical activities or the transfer of your data when using the “contact” button - chat can be operated by locations outside the European Economic Area at Intercom’s primary processing facilities are in the United States of America, including to Intercom Affiliates and Sub-processors indicated here


§4. DATA RECIPIENTS

We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, content delivery, hosting services, customer service, and communications services. . We take advantage of the services of the software development companies and ones that maintain ICT systems with which we have entered into relevant agreements. Such agreements cover the rules for data processing and confidentiality. These data are not made available, and none of those companies has the right to process the data in another way than the one set out in the agreement. Your data, if a company has access to them, may be processed only for the needs of the correct provision of the services and analytical purposes, in particular:  Your personal data may be transferred to entities processing personal data in the name of the Controller, including IT service providers Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Ireland), which is Our's subprocessor, where such entities process data based on a written agreement concluded with the Controller and only in accordance with Controller’s instructions.Your personal data may be transferred to a service provider or third party that is performing chat services related to the Mobile App (Intercom). Under this transfer, we provide a limited amount of your information (some personal information like your User Id and language used by you) and utilize Intercom to collect data for analytics purposes when you use Mobile App. As a data processor acting on our behalf, Intercom analyzes your use of our website and/or product.
