The new builder has three tabs:
The main navigation is distraction-free. At the top, you can work your way through creating a survey all the way to launching it in Intercom.
Now, let’s deep dive into the different steps of creating an Intercom Messenger survey.
1. Create Tab
The Create Tab consists of two subsections, with the first one being Questions. This is where you add questions and set up survey skip logic. It’s deciding what question or action a respondent sees next based on how they answered the previous question.
The most striking improvement? You can now preview a question type before adding it to a survey. This lets you instantly check if a particular question fits your survey.
With the old builder, you couldn’t preview question types. It’s a feature you’ve commonly requested, so it’s great to deliver it to you!
With Survicate, you can choose from 7 question types to use in Intercom Messenger surveys! Spoiler alert: you won’t find another solution that supports so many question types.
In the Questions subsection, you can duplicate, delete, and add introductions to questions. It also contains some settings that default to specific question types. Like randomizing answers or making survey questions obligatory.
It’s fair to say that you can create Intercom Messenger surveys quicker than with the old builder. You don’t have to hit the ‘Save’ button upon each change anymore.
