Once the trial ends, your surveys will be stopped and archived. But don’t worry; you can either continue with our Free plan (which lets you collect up to 25 responses per month), upgrade to our Business plan, or chat with our Sales team for a custom offer.
Is there a free version of Survicate?
Yes, there is! Survicate offers a Free plan with a limit of 25 survey responses per month that’s ideal for those just starting out with collecting customer feedback. When you sign up, you’ll automatically get a free 10-day trial of our Business plan. After that, if you don’t choose to upgrade, your account will automatically switch to a Free plan.
Here’s what you can do on our Free plan: - Create and launch any survey - Collect up to 25 responses per month - Collaborate in a team of 3 - Integrations are unavailable - 30 days of data retention - Up to a total of 100 responses on all active surveys
So, you can always access Survicate for free, even if you decide not to upgrade after your trial.
What’s the difference between the Free plan and the free trial?
The free trial gives you a 10-day preview of our Business plan. During this time you can collect up to 25 survey responses and test all the Business plan’s features. After the trial ends, you have the option to upgrade or automatically move to our Free plan.
Our Free plan is always available and perfect for those just starting with feedback collection. It allows you to create and launch all types of surveys, collect up to 25 responses per month, and collaborate with up to three team members.
In short, the free trial offers a temporary full access to Business plan features, while the Free plan provides ongoing access to essential survey tools at no cost.
How do you count responses?
We count responses on a per-respondent basis. When surveys consist of multiple questions, it doesn’t matter if the respondent replies to just one question or all of them. It will qualify as one response in both instances.
What payment methods can I use to pay for Survicate?
You can pay using all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) and PayPal. For the Enterprise plan, we also accept wire transfers. We do NOT charge any transaction fees. Payments can be made in USD, EUR, GBP, or PLN.
What if I exceed the limit of responses on my plan?
Once you hit your response limit, your surveys will stop collecting responses. To keep the feedback coming, you'll need to upgrade to a higher plan or, for Scale users, purchase more responses.

Can I cancel my subscription and what’s your refund policy?
You can cancel your subscription at any point. Your subscription will remain active until the new billing cycle begins. We don’t offer refunds, so always make sure to terminate your subscription before the new billing cycle begins.
What happens when my free trial ends or my subscription expires?
When your free trial ends or your subscription expires without a subsequent purchase, you’ll be moved to our Free plan. Here’s what changes: - All your surveys get archived and, as a result, are stopped - You can unarchive surveys with a total limit of 100 responses - You can collect up to 25 responses across all active surveys each month - You can create and launch new surveys of any type - Integrations become unavailable - If we’ve archived any surveys, you’ll spot a yellow notification highlighting this - If you choose to cancel, a notification will inform you that all your surveys are about to be archived

What are add-ons and how do they work?
Add-ons are additional features you can include in your Business plan at an extra cost for even more functionality. Here are the add-ons we currently offer: -Multilingual surveys: Offer surveys in multiple languages for broader reach and personalized experiences. - Advanced exports and connectivity: Get deeper insights by connecting and exporting your data to tools like BigQuery and Google Sheets. - Salesforce integration: Create a comprehensive customer view by syncing survey data with Salesforce. - Single Sign-On (SSO): Ensure easy and secure access with SSO, available for yearly plans. Prices vary – some add-ons have a monthly rate, while others depend on your chosen response volume. SSO is exclusive to yearly plans.

How many responses per month should I choose?
Deciding how many responses per month you need can be challenging, but we're here to make it easier. Here are our average response rates, based on real data from our customers. You can use them to calculate how many people need to see your survey for you to achieve the desired number of responses: - Web surveys: 8% response rate - In-product surveys: 16% response rate - Mobile surveys: 30% response rate - Email surveys: assume 20% open rate and 20% click rate
So, for example, to achieve 250 responses, you'll typically need to reach 3,125 people via web surveys, 1,563 in-app, 833 through your mobile app, or send 6,250 emails, considering a 20% open and 20% click rate.
