How to become a guest writer
Before writing a word, fill out a form at the bottom of the page. Provide us with 2-3 title ideas, a few bullet points what you want to include in each article, and a few words about yourself. Really, don’t send us ready articles before you get an approval. After receiving your pitch, we’ll answer within 7 days and let you know whether we accept your idea or not. We try to reply to all pitches but if we don’t reply within a week, feel free to pitch your ideas to other websites.
If we accept your pitch, write an article with accordance to the guidelines below:
Structure – provide a clear structure with an introduction, body, and summary/takeaways.
Links – we love linking to relevant external resources so provide us with at least 3 links to authoritative websites. We don’t mind a link to content on your website or blog as long as it’s relevant. Refrain from linking to your homepage or product pages in the article, you can do it in the bio.
Together with the article, send us your bio (2-4 sentences) and your headshot.
We love graphics. Include any relevant media that you would like to see in the article with a source if needed.
We love articles like ‘How to…’ or ‘X best ways to …’, ‘X tips how to …’ etc. You can say they are a cliche but they enforce a clear structure and are easy to follow for readers.
Ever heard about SEO? Hope so. When writing an article, keep a certain keyword in mind and use it a few times to make the article more google-friendly.
Length – 800 words is a minimum. The longer and in-depth the article, the better. That said, don’t compromise quality for quantity, we don’t like bullshitting.
Last but not least, the article must be original and unpublished elsewhere.
When you’re done writing a draft, upload it to Google Docs and share it with email@example.com. Remember to enable commenting.
Looking forward your great content!
